L'accès aux universités britanniques est possible après l'obtention du A.Level, équivalent du baccalauréat général.
Il existe trois types de diplômes délivrés par ces universités :
- Les diplômes professionnels : Higher National Diploma
- Les first degrees
- Les higher degrees by instruction
Les deux universités les plus réputées sont Oxford et Cambridge.
